Assault on the run!

There is a German SK7 (it is unarmored and unarmed) + 75mm AT gun in tow, alone in a hex. An American infantry platoon (6-3) + leader declare a Move action from 2 or 3 hexes away from the German transport and moves directly through the German transport simply eliminating it along with the AT gun. Correct ?

Now, imagine a German truck transporting German infantry + leader. The same US infantry moves through. Same outcome ?

Same outcome. It's how the rule reads. Though the rule says "unarmed enemy trucks, wagons or sledges." I think the key operator here is unarmed.

P.S. An SK7 is armored, not that it would have effected the outcome.
