Mentors wanted!

Hi everyone,

At launch we have a small team of 4 mentors. We are always looking for more! It's not difficult to be a mentor, and you can make a big difference in our little hobby community by helping others!

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Your main task is to organize and execute online live play sessions with students over Vassal.
  
• You should be comfortable with both Vassal and the PG Über module.
  
• You should be patient and willing to make time at least once a week to play with your student.
  
• You should love Panzer Grenadier and know the rules well!

We have a guy in Paris who would like a mentor. I am at -7 UTC, that makes coordination difficult with him at +1 UTC. Is there someone out there who could give us a hand?

I thought about trying to mentor him until he indicated that he wanted a French speaker. I'd be in trouble there.

That is something I didn't know about. I don't think anyone here speaks French.

I can speak French but have not yet gone through the Vassal academy.

How about a session or 2 for getting you up to speed with the PG Uber features?

Keep in mind that one does not have to do self-study alone. We had 2 guys in Finland who did the academy together. I half suggested  this to Olivier when I wrote to him, I didn't have a study-buddy suggestion for him though.
