in the way of the next pleasure enhancements offering.  Unfortunately 1: I am retiring and my income will have to be concentrated in survival and maintenance mode.   Unfortunately 2: I kinda sorta feel these are coming out now for the same reason that the zippies came out during the last crisis: with the cost of keeping the inventory in print, there really isn't money available for the line of pre-ordered opuses (yes, I took Latin, and I know the plural of opus is opera) and something has to keep the excitement up while we all wait.

Well, the nominative plural is opera.  But the genitive plural, which you need above, is operum.

I don't recall that O'Brian ever specified in the book (HMS Surprise).  But given that the sloth was captured in Brazil, perhaps the best guess would be: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maned_sloth which is three-toed.

The rule here is that Blabbermouth can warn you to save nickles, but not leak details till Mike has spoken.  So far he,s only gone public with Rise of the Dragon (Japan in the Med 1915).  If I weren't retiring in 45 days I'd set asside $100 for PG and $60 for GWAS.  And I'd be looking for more room in my AAAD box.
