Wadi
I'm getting ready to play scenario 40 from An Army at Dawn, and it calls for hex 0807 and the hill it is part of on board 77 to be wadi terrain.  The issue is that this is a 2-level hill.  I can see this going one of three ways.

1 - the 40m hill is ignored and the whole area is -20m wadi.
2 - the 40m hill is a lower level of the wadi and is treated as -40m instead of +40m.
3 - the 40m hill is actually now +20m and is the same level as the surrounding terrain outside of the wadi.

I'm planning to play under assumption 1.  Just wondered if anyone else had a better idea on this.  I haven't played much Afrika Korps or Desert Rats, but what I do recall is that those games placed hill or wadi markers in every level of designated terrain, which would have cleared this up, but otherwise this situation isn't really spelled out.  Thanks for your thoughts.

RE: Wadi
I would go with option 1. It is similar to the AK/DR rule too.

Thanks.  It seems to work out well that way.  Although a loaded halftrack falling to an AT gun might have preferred to have been hiding behind that higher terrain.  Smile

RE: Wadi
I think you're right to go with option 1. Generally if a hill or wadi has more than one level the scenario rules will specify that.
