[Hist] Chinese paratrooper trained by S.U. in WW2 to fight the Japanese
The Chinese media recently published a surprisingly detailed article about a Chinese soldier from NE China who fought the occupation, fled to the Soviet Union, was trained to be a paratrooper, and then returned to join the insurgency. He's 93 years old!

Interesting. A bit of insight into a theater we don't often get. Also interesting how Wang Zhen ends with the "glorious fighting days" note. I wonder if Wang Ming thought, or thinks now, that it was glorious.
