Smoke?Starshell usage
Using 4th Edition rules. If you attempt Smoke or Starshells , make the roll and it is less than 5 , you don't get the special ammunition. Does this count against the Limited Ammunition number for that type of ammunition?

My reading of the rule that dice roll is for effective placement. So I think you use your smoke illumination "attack", but don't get to place the marker.
