Did you use the book that has the same title as the game?

There were 11 Tiger's in s.Pz.Abt.504 in March and April 1943 and 20 Tiger's in s.Pz.Abt.501 from Novermber 1942 to January 1943 per Jantz "Panzertruppen 1943-1945" pg. 15.

"Tiger's in Combat I" has 501 having 10 in November and 1 in December. The same source has 504 having 20 in February, 11 in March and 2 at 5/23/43.

Of course available and operational is two different things. And just a factoid but the Tiger rebuilt and made a runner at Bovington Camp in the U.K. was captured in Tunisia.
