1940 Fall Of Luxembourg - dirk - 06-13-2014

Will Luxembourg be added to the Nations and Units in PG-HQ? Undecided

Yes. I've been in 6 countries in six weeks. For the next 6 weeks I'll be mostly at home so I can do some maintenance.

Thank you, since it was just for Gold members, I wasn't quite sure it would be included.

Would love to have seen the whining !

I just want to purchase a countersheet of gates so that France can close their borders completely in 1940! Its utterly amazing that "shutting the doors" was the duchy's defense plan.

Ok Larry, what would your plan be? You have an army of just shy of 450 and 250 backups (the gendarmes), and lots of forest with narrow roads. You plan general? (Oh, yeah. They do have a general.) Hurry up! 3 panzer divisions are on the way!

LOL Peter - I thought the very same !

I was wondering whether everybody here has any idea just how small it is and its tiny population. On one occassion I actually drove in and out of it without even realising I was going through Luxembourg. I didn't catch on till later. Ever since, I have always made sure that I am aware and that I pay the Duchy due respect and acknowledgement like any other country :-)
