I would honestly see the CCF involvement being broken down into 2 parts. The first one covering the November, 1951 attacks down to the line stabilizing south of the parallel. Then the fighting back to just across the parallel and the second great CCF attack with a focus on Chip-yong-ni. Or perhaps a book on that as it was a fight of some importance. Then maybe a book on the bigger actions of the final 2 years.

Zaarin7, I have a number of reasons of making The Chinese Intervention, October 23rd 1950 – July 27th 1953, (Volume 3) just one game.

1. One AP wanted three games and one or two supplements.
2. I felt the after reading all the materials the games just flowed better broken down into the sections I came up with.
3. The counters would repeat too much with two Chinese games.
4. The scenarios give the gamer more variety, with more mobility in 1950-51 and more king of the hill types in 1952-53, so it’s a nice mix scenarios this way.
5. I didn’t think the gamers would support two games so similar.
6. The games are finished in the design stage and turned in, just this weekend in fact.
7. Lastly, I really like what I have turned in, with 65 scenarios for the Chinese Intervention. It covers what needs to be covered to make a great game.

It’s kind of interesting see Chinese add more artillery support as the game progresses in time. Overall, this will really hit the spot, if you are into the Korean War or not. I never know I was until I started to study this subject. I am hoping it will draw more players into PG as well that might not be WWII gamer fans. The Korean War really shaped the world today, with a cold war that went kind of hot, but without nuclear bombs. So many battles that never got the attention of WWII battles but really should have!
