Going small - larry marak - 11-17-2012 Which of the cardboard maps is used most for single map scenarios? 10 and 13 seem to be leaders, but with over 1000 scenarios to check, its hard to tell. RE: Going small - Shad - 11-17-2012 Ooh that's a good question... and on the night I don't have a computer handy... damn you Marak! Right, Top 5 here we go! And I'll use our nifty new TableGenerator as well...
Hmm... I'm not sure 13 (Airborne) should count, since it is basically being triple-counted (Airb, AirI, Air3). RE: Going small - waynebaumber - 11-17-2012 So Shad which board gets the multiple map from different game sets, I think its Board 25. I am really testing your PG search engine RE: Going small - Shad - 11-17-2012 (11-17-2012, 06:46 PM)waynebaumber Wrote: So Shad which board gets the multiple map from different game sets, I think its Board 25. Child's play!
RE: Going small - larry marak - 11-18-2012 I'll tell you, the searchability of this data base is tremendous! I have to agree Shad, 13 in many cases is counted triple, but even if you only used data from Airborne Introductory, it is the most used solo board. Looking at the most used and most-used multi stats, is shows the tendency of most maps in the system to be semi-historical rather than generic. The first 12 maps should have an advantage, because so many supplements were made when their maplets were the only choice. Dr. B. has stated that the 8 maps designed for Infantry Attacks 1 and 2 are intended for use in PG supplements covering 1944 on the Eastern Front.....the Fall of Army Group Center though the race to the Vistula. I'm expecting the Fall of France maps to be used heavily for the upcoming Breakout and Pursuit book(s?), Leonard's new opus, and possibly more scenario books set in 1948 following Patton's Nightmare and Stalin's Happy Dream. Smart ass, though the result was interesting though I did not take into account EFD's 112 scenario's which will bump up all that sets maps RE: Going small - Hugmenot - 11-18-2012 Which board is used the most often in multi-map scenarios other than in the box game it came in? RE: Going small - vince hughes - 11-18-2012 Which board has its board number facing north the most ? This is actually a really easy query because it's essentially the same as the above multi-map query, but limited to expansion games not including Kokoda Trail...
