Avalanche Press? - ltbob87 - 07-08-2023

Does anyone know what is going on with the company? I placed an order several weeks back and have not seen a shipment. Multiple emails have gone unanswered and I am starting to get concerned.

It's SOP for AP. (It does, however, get a little old.) The good doctor doesn't seem to understand that one of the primary aspects of running a company is on time production and shipping.

And responding to customer calls or emails!

If you need to contact them use CSW. Its unfortunately the only way to actually get a response.

The other side of it is that the "Management" of the company pays particular interest to the historical aspects of the 'battles", making them much more interesting than the run-of-the-mill "war games" and that the good doctor delves into some aspects of WWII that I didn't much pay attention to. (Making for some interesting games in and of themselves.) In sum, we have a good designer, historian and game maker, but (alas!) not a good production engineer.

That's how I see it, anyway. It is, however, enough to keep me interested. (The "waiting" side of the question drives me to DRINK, however.)

Nevermind!

Don't feel too forgotten. I'm still waiting for two games that were ordered and paid for eight years ago. It's kind of like Kickstarter on steroids.
