Can a disrupted Italian 65mm conduct a bombardment attack? - triangular_cube - 09-05-2020

This situation has never come up for me before that I recall (or at least its been completely irrelevant every other time).

The Italian 65mm has a bombardment strength of 4, it becomes disrupted and is therefore cut in half down to 2.

The minimum fire value on the bombardment table is 3, hence a disrupted 65 will fire on the ... there isnt a column.

I would guess this means that it cannot fire, or if it does, it has no chance of getting a result.

Maybe im forgetting something though.

You are correct about the bombardment ability being negated.  It can however, be used in an AT role for a first shot and another AT unit being able to get the crossfire modification.

Thanks for confirming what I was thinking. Can't say its too frequent that I want that shot on the 3 column, deserved or not. Dodgy

Rule 11.12 last sentence is the rule reference if your opponent cries foul.

Yeah, the AT part didnt matter for this scenario. Was only concerned with the bombardment fire.
