Preordered? Is it being reprinted?

RE: Panzer Grenadier: Liberation 1944 - Matt W - 11-26-2015

Yes, with standard depth counters as opposed to the 1/8" tiles that came with the first printing.

Most likely. I lucked out with my copy...my blacked out maps came with Saipan.

Matt,

Do you know whether they are (to be) stamped (e.g. AaD) or the slimmer tiles (e.g. Kursk types)?

PY

Production is completely outside my scope...

RE: Panzer Grenadier: Liberation 1944 - Poor Yorek - 02-25-2016

Has anyone seen the new version of Liberation 1944, particularly the maps & counters, to convey whether the problems (at least in the opinion of many) - respectively too dark and too thick - have been addressed?

RE: Panzer Grenadier: Liberation 1944 - rerathbun - 02-26-2016

Can't vouch for the maps, but I've received the counters and they are very nice.

Die cuts, square corners and side nubs.  They feel like the same thickness as the 'standard' die-cut counters from Eastern Front Deluxe, Battle of the Bulge and the rest.  Slight rounding down on the edges of the front side, and the backs are absolutely flat.  No impressions from the die-cutter press at all.  Very sharp printing like the old die-cuts, none of the 'painted' look and feel of the laser-cut counters.  Matte finish with no real 'shine' (almost a cross between matte and flat).  If you liked the old die-cuts, you'll like these (as long as you don't mind the side nubs).
