Maybe Shan can move this folder and put adjacent to the Infantry Attacks folder. Modern War!
Any particular reason why, Jay?
I gave you guys an IA folder and there is exactly one thread.

There isn't even a Modern War PG game yet and you want a folder? Yeah, not happening! Tongue
Shad/Andrew I mean!

Nothing big, just a discussion folder like Infantry Attacks. Besides, Modern War will be much more similar to PG than Infantry Attacks.

The only reason, is something I saw on the Gold Club for future products.

Are the Modern PG rules available yet?

I played 3 IA scenarios in the past month and a half and found the rules to be quite close to the PG rules.

I especially like the IA HMG rules because they implement well my understanding of a WWI HMG; powerful weapons but with very limited mobility.

The OBA pre-plotting requirement is FAR less a pain than I thought it would be and forces me to consider my plan of attack more carefully. It tales me about 15 minutes to write down a general plan of attack (not required, just something I do) and then another 5 to 10 minutes to write the pre-plotting coordinates. This makes IA feels more like a simulation than PG to me as I must follow my general plan or forego my OBA via a Cancel mission. It's interesting but likely too restrictive for some players.

I agree.
Probably can be kept as a stickied thread in PG until there are more than one title out there. Of course we will also need a thread for the 4th PG based series, which will be out fairly soon :-}.
Has anyone seen the scenarios? I would like to know how many scenarios include 70 or more units and how many scenarios include 50 or less units.

The reason I ask is I prefer medium and large scenarios (70+ units) over small scenarios (50- units) when playing solo.
Unhugable:

Good question, but the playtest groups are pretty good at not posting info here until the game has been completely distributed. A few members of this board were involved in playtesting more than a year ago and they are good at keeping quiet.
