My wife would say she knew this already, but I am officially globally offensive. 
The new iteration of CS is pretty fun. Sold for $15 ($13 if you preordered) it's best to think of it as an expansion or upgrade to CS:Source rather than a standalone game.
The bright spot for me has been the new demolition mode. These maps are much smaller than usual, feature lots of cover, are head-on affairs, and the more people you kill the crappier your issued weapon becomes.
Eventually, yes, you are running around with a pea-shooting pistol trying to take down guys with AKs, but if you DO drop someone it feels oh so awesome.
Give it a shot if you enjoy FPS games. For the price I think it's more than worth it.
Lastly, an amusing screenshot from a weekend session (this isn't me, and yes, he did win by hiding here and blasting a T who walked by)...
