Firstly scale is: Infantry/cavalry in companies/squadrons, artillery in batteries, machine-gun and mortars in sections. Okay, got that.
Next Stacking is: Three combat units, no more than two of which may be companies (or presumably cavalry squadrons). No big deal there either.
Marking: Infantry in companies, cavalry in squadrons, artillery in companies, machine-guns in sections, mortars in companies. Now there is a problem.
Did anyone else notice that? Kind of important since both Direct and Bombardment fire have mods of "+1 Target hex contains one company" and "+2 Target hex contains two companies". Are the counters marked wrong? Is the scale declaration wrong?
Combat factors would suggest the counters are marked wrong. Does anyone have ideas on why artillery batteries and mortar sections might otherwise be marked as companies?
