The terrain favors the defender. The US was set up in the town and had a good field of fire for both the halftracks and the 105s. The Germans also just could not get high rolls to get units on the board. This hindered them in a huge way. When they finally got enough u it’s together to try and attack, the 105s and halftracks disrupted and demoralized the forward German u it’s to the point they could not take out the 105s. US victory.
