The Soviets are short handed so they make one strongpoint on the left and one on the right. The Germans threw everything at the left, to take the high ground and keep out of LOS of some Soviet units, degrading their firepower. The Soviets didn’t get their reinforcements until Turn 9, by which time the Germans had managed to use the Pzr III flame tanks to their utmost.
