The set up does not list whether the river is minor or major, there is no crossing number and the Chinese set up includes 4 engineer platoons which they do not have in the counter mix. Based on the write up made the river major, gave the Japanese the engineers and a river crossing number of 7.

This scenario played out pretty much like the write up, the Chinese had a strong defensive position at the bridge covered by dug in infantry, mortars, HMGs and two batteries of 75s. The Japanese went further east to cross at an undefended part of the river to out flank the Chinese defenses at the bridge, needless to say they were unsuccessful in capturing the bridge, time is not on the side of the Japanese.
